Innovative fundraising for sustainable social programs

Intermediate results February 2022 - December 2022

Starting with February 2022, through the project "Innovative fundraising for sustainable social programs", we have developed the capacity of the fundraising organization through new tools used at national level and we continue the planned fundraising campaigns to support over 130 children from poor families and family-type homes and more than 100 young people from the special protection system or care leavers.

Main intermediate results:

Direct debit: Starting from July 2022, 850 individual donors are supporting the activities of children from family-type homes, through the campaign "Give the feeling of HOME to children protected by CONCORDIA!"

Single or recurring online donations: we have developed the fundraising campaign dedicated to persons who want to support monthly 120 children from CONCORDIA Day Care Centers, accompanied by the message "Poor children do not choose when they drop out of school". Every month, more and more donors are supporting our cause.

Running a campaign for collecting small and medium sponsorships from companies: through this project we run every year a campaign addressed directly to companies that want to direct the corporate tax through the related mechanisms, to support projects dedicated to children and young people that we support to regain their trust, to develop and to start on a new path to an independent life.

The aim of the project "Innovative fundraising for sustainable social programs" is to develop fundraising capacity from various sources at CONCORDIA level for programs in underserved areas. It aims to increase the capacity and sustainability of NGOs and strengthen the infrastructure of civil society: fundraising tools, monitoring mechanisms, collaboration between NGOs, authorities and companies are developed for the financial sustainability of NGOs sector.

The project is implemented by CONCORDIA Humanitarian Organization and benefits from a 99,936 euros grant from Active Citizens Fund Romania, programme funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA Grants Grants 2014 -2021.
